Dare to Spend a few Nights in the Haunted Queen Mary The Queen Mary sailed the North Atlantic for Cunard until 1967 and then was retired. She is now permanently docked in Long Beach where you can have a cool overnight stay with your family and even your dog. Among the ghosts reportedly still hanging around are a sailor who died in the ship's engine room, a "lady in white," and children who drowned in the ship's pool.
